Roger almost died on the spot when he read the email on Josh’s laptop. How on earth did he not think of that? Of course, it was going to smell. It’d been over a week since he had put Felkie in his box-like prison, and with the weather being so hot it must be a mess inside there now. He had never thought it would be discovered so soon; frankly he’d hoped he’d sealed it up so well it would never be discovered, but obviously not. He had hoped that by the time it was found, if at all, he would be safely back in his life without any ties to Felkie’s death. Roger needed more time before he could have anyone open that thing! This was happening way too fast!

He was running late for the first meeting of the day now and he needed to get himself prepared, but he thought this was much too important to leave in case they opened up the statue straight away, so, as fast as he could, he barked back an answer to Clarke. He had to stop him from opening the thing!

Keep it light, Roger, keep it light.

You’re right Clarke that is really funny and so weird! I wonder how the silly thing got in there.

Could you leave the statue outside the shed and wait until I return to open it? I want to see it too.

Sorry mate, gotta go – running late.
